A Leader’s Clear Communication

Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. Exodus 12:13 Without the ability to communicate, a leader travels alone. No one will follow you without a clear understanding of your vision. And no one will catch your vision unless you first transfer a picture of it into his or her heart. A vision should paint a vivid picture of your goal or objective. It should give the hearer the feeling that they are there with you in the future. That’s what God did when he clearly explained to the Hebrew families how they could spare the lives of their firstborn sons. Are you painting a clear picture of your goals and objectives for those that you expect to follow? Has it captured their imagination and been firmly imprinted on their hearts?
